Software giant, Microsoft, recently announced that users can now delete their passwords and instead log in using an authenticator app or other solution. Since March, passwordless accounts have been available to business users and now the tech giant will make the system available to all Microsoft or Windows users. The company stated that "nearly 100% of our employees" were already using the new, more secure system for their corporate accounts. Users who have this option enabled will be asked to give their fingerprint, or other secure unlock when logging into their Microsoft account(s). According to Microsoft, this system is much more secure than using a password, as these can be guessed or stolen before adding that "only you can provide fingerprint authentication or provide the right response on your mobile at the right time." Would you prefer for all services to scrap passwords and simply authenticate you via an app on your phone with facial or fingerprint recognition?

  I prefer to stay classic, despite human's weakness for memory loss, i believe that giving away and relying your most protected passwords to the hands of softwares also gives them the opportunity to rob this privacy ans security from you, no thanks!
