Chips
Closed

Have French fries or ordinary sized chips in the freezer which would you prefer? I'm using the French fries this evening for my sons egg chips and cold meat, he likes double eggs on crispy fried bread and a tomato. For dessert a cream slice to which he adds extra jam !

Guy, the former owner of a camp site we use at Buysscheure in north-east France, made the best chips I ever tasted. They were somewhere in size between French fries and British chip shop chips. He peeled and cut fresh potatoes by hand, blanched them at a modest temperature in the morning, then cooked them on full heat before serving. Delicious. He said his family was Belgian and they make the best chips of all.

I prefer thin chips Mary but refuse to call them French fries, to me they're thin English chips! :-) xx

I got a wee air frier Mary you can get ones for single people;) and chips can be made out of boiled potato's cut up , very little oil to , just not 100% as tasty as the chippy ones though ;)
but I feel they are healthier once vinegar goes on and low fat mayo they are tasty enough
Enjoy your feed Mary and company to x
