Distance Aware Initiative: Badges & Lanyards
Closed

Distance Aware is an initiative designed to help people who feel they require extra support to feel safe around other people as we come out of two years of lockdown restrictions.

Those who wish to take part in the scheme are encouraged to wear badges and lanyards with the yellow Distance Aware logo (above) on them.

This will indicate to the public that people wearing them would like to have a bit of extra space.

The badges and lanyards are free and available to pick across Scotland this week. I picked mine up from my local library today.

What do you think about the initiative?

If we have them in England i'll definitely look out for them Maisie. It's a very good idea and i hope people notice and respect those wearing them.
