Long Lazy Weekends are back! #BonusPoints
Closed

Hey Influencers!

Clear your weekend and spend it here on the Toluna community! If you were here last week, you probably know there’s plenty of chance to earn lots of points but this long weekend is even better. Not only do we have a new limited-time game, a survey contest, but also another fun content contest.

This weekend’s content contest is a topic contest - Happy Hour on Toluna (all weekend long).

Create a topic by choosing one of our “specials” from our happy hour menu. Write at least 5 lines about the special you chose, include our title #HappyHour26 and a image to receive bonus points! But remember, you must create a topic before the end of the weekend, Sunday, November 28th @11:59pm.

Happy Hour Specials:

Your favorite book | 600 points
Your favorite candle brand | 600 points
Your favorite holiday recipe | 600 points

Are you ready? We can't wait to see what you share.

Best,
Toluna Team

Not sure how to create a topic? Follow instructions here:

When you go to create your topic, click the tab on top - ""Community"" and scroll your mouse to ""Topic."" From the new screen where you can create content, click topic again, which should allow you to join in on the fun for points.

For your title (where it says, share something with the community) = #HappyHour26, add an image or video (we have a free image library for you to use- by clicking on the photo icon when you create a topic and there is a tab to add video - by adding a YouTube link there), and make sure you write at least 5 lines.

#HappyHour26 I just love visiting the mountain. It help me to meditate on the meaning of life. The sweet air and tweeting of the Birds calms my spirit and help me to be sane from Losing my MOM. I really recommend visiting the mountain at least every month. With Love: Shamar

My favorite holiday recipe is for Pecan Snow Balls (Cookies), it's an absolute favorite for everyone that visits our house and our neighbours, and for our cookie exchange! It's easy to make too....
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup powdered sugar, plus more for coating
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups White Lily all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups finely chopped pecans
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° F and line a cookie sheet with parchment or silicone baking mat.
In a large bowl, (or in the bowl of your stand mixer) cream your butter and sugar together. Add the vanilla and salt and mix well. Slowly add the flour, mixing well after each addition. A thick dough will form. Add the chopped pecans and mix well.
Scoop 1 tablespoon of the dough out and roll it into a ball and place it on the cookie sheet. I like using a 1 tablespoon cookie dough scoop to get them all the same size. Continue until all the dough has been formed into balls. Place them on the cookie sheet about 1 inch part. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool for about 5 minutes then gently roll them in powdered sugar while still warm. Allow them to cool completely and then coat them in powdered sugar again.
