#SummerMemories - the best vacation you ever had!
Summer contest

Closed

Hello influencers,

Yet again, we find ourselves in the midst of summer!
In just 3 days from now, we are going to celebrate the Summer Solstice on the 21st of June, the longest day of the year!
To mark the transition into this beautiful season that we all enjoy, as we get to have more sun now than ever… we have prepared a contest for you!

We want you to share with us a picture, or video from your best summer vacation you ever had accompanied by a topic! It doesn’t matter if it happened last year or 10 years ago, it has to be your very best and you have to tell us why it was so.

So go ahead, and write a topic of minimum 250 words about your best summer vacation (tips: you can write about the place you visited, when was that, what did you do there, who were you with, what were the highlights etc.). You can go ahead and make it as personal as you like and tell us about funny, unexpected moments you went through!
We want to be absolutely mesmerized and get to know each one of you!

So, don’t forget: a photo/or video + a topic of minimum 250 words. Use #SummerMemories when creating your topic.

For this contest, we are going to select 5 lucky winners who are going to get 10 000 points individually!

Deadline: 30th of June (including)

*Only topics that will respect the rules of the contest will be selected. Points will be credited 3-5 days after the end of the contest.

So…hurry up! Let’s get to know each other, laugh together and remember just how lovely it is to go for summer vacations with our loved ones or even on our own, for those of us who are more adventurous!

Influence your world,
Toluna Team

The best summer vacation I had was in kashmir. For us it was summers but in kashmir it was snowing season but unfortunately we were so unlucky that we were not able to see snowing nor rain. We took all our winter clothes and umbrellas. We there for 10 days and it was so hot that instead of becoming fair we had all turn dark because of sun tan and the winter clothes. But kashmir looked beautiful from everywhere. We eat lots of apples walnuts and drank lots of jafran tea and milk. The boat house was wonderful and the daal lake with all the small stalls in boat was just very beautiful i just cannot describe the beauty of kashmir. But was very very hot climate and when we reached back home immediately the next day there was a flood and full kashmir was drowned all the beauty of kashmir had gone houses went flowing in water shop were all under water. Alhamdulillah we had reached home safely.

The best summer vacation I had was with my father back in the early 90s, I was in my teens then. We’d camped by the sea (although our apartment was nearby) for about 2 days in AlAgami, Alexandria Egypt. Fishing was his hobby, so be brought fishing strings and bait. At sunset he started fishing at night and caught a striped bass after 3 hours of waiting (why laughed about why was this lonesome bass loitering close to shore) . He taught me how to start a fire, with dry twigs found on the shore and of course a cigarette lighter (nothing special really, but it was the first time to see a fire being lit for me). Although my mom had sent sandwiches from home, we still grilled that fish and ate it LOL. It was the saltiest fish I’d ever had because after cleaning it, he washed it with sea water LOL. The next day we ate mom’s sandwiches for brunch!!!! and returned home later that evening. My dad passed away in January 2021. But the memories he left will always be there.
